MEET SHERVIN BOLOORIAN, BALI'S IRANIAN-AMERICAN HOLISTIC SOUND AUTHORITY AND MUSICAL TALENT
Shervin Boloorian is a seasoned expert, speaker and author on the power of natural sound and voice. He is also Bali's most celebrated vocalist and an accomplished multi-instrumental musician who created his own system of healing sound.
By 2026, Shervin led thousands of live events in 16 countries and released numerous recordings as a music artist. He left a successful career as a policy expert in DC in 2009 to become a sound practitioner.
He offers in-person live sound and music immersions of different kinds, is a passionate speaker and advocate of the power of sound as therapy, and has traveled all around the world sharing his programs.
Shervin published his first book in 2022, launched Bali's first ever sound healing program in 2012 at the Yoga Barn, leads the world's first community sound collective, and advances the next generation of sound practitioners through holistic sound training techniques and practices.
Because of his clarity in communicating esoteric concepts, personal background of overcoming corporate burnout and overcoming refugee isolation, well structured teaching format, and warm interactive community building skills, Shervin's signature method sets a standard of excellence, making him widely regarded as Bali's top professional in the field of sound.
He currently offers trainings in Ubud, Bali having packaged together a sound certification program that is results-based, accessible, grounded in cellular science and driven by authentic, vulnerable creativity.
In a field that varies widely in quality, he sets his practitioners apart by continually raising the bar of presentation standards and consistency.
Shervin avoids the three "Overlies"- most other training programs are either overly-intuitive, overly esoteric, or overly "music-first".
His own years of training with a top pioneers of modern sound healing, Fabien Maman, helped him distinguish sound as entertainment vs. sound as an unmistakable force of transformation. Maman's Tama-Do Academy, which Shervin graduated from in 2011, is grounded in science and numerous holistic schools of knowledge.
Shervin has presented for Google Offices and MTV, conveying healing sound concepts in laymen's terms and showing how natural sound can enhance your ever day life. He teaches a fun and accessible framework that a person of any skill level or age can use with confidence.
